Performance is as expected for each port. I was able to connect my MacBook Pro to a 4K monitor @ 60Hz without any issues. I also tested all of the USB 3.0 ports with various devices (flash drives, SSDs, etc.) and had no performance issues. The SD and microSD card readers work as expected as well. One thing to note is that the HDMI port does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision, but this is not a dealbreaker for me as I don’t own any HDR10/Dolby Vision content nor do I have a display that supports it.

Overall, I’m very happy with the Aukey CB-C55. It’s well-built, performs as expected, and is very reasonably priced. If you need a USB-C hub for your MacBook Pro (no Touch Bar), I highly recommend this one from Aukey!
